Having played in Belgium and Holland touring with the Charlie Sayles Band, Lighthouse landed in Washington, D.C in the late ‘80s and enjoyed a steady gig of his own at D.C.’s City Blues Cafe. Twice appearing at the Blues Foundation IBC - with his band and as a solo- his two releases, Drive-Thru Love and Deep Down in the Mud have both met with acclaim throughout the U.S., Europe and Australia.
A sampler of praises sung include Blues & Rhythm Magazine- “…supremely talented bluesman… mercurial talents”; Blues Review -”…consummate skill”; and Baltimore Blues Society - “dextrous guitar and awesome harp tone”.
